Welcome to Kristy Lausten Fine Art (the “Site”), operated by Kristy Centeno Lausten. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Kristy Centeno Lausten. By accessing or using this website, purchasing any of our products, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.
By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You agree not to use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.

Copy or reproduce our content, artwork, or design without permission
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
Products and Orders
We offer original artwork, fine art prints, journals, and other creative goods for sale. All products are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue items at any time without notice.
We make every effort to accurately display product colors and details, but variations may occur due to screen settings or print processes.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our sole discretion.
Payment and Billing
We use third-party services, such as Stripe and PayPal, to securely process payments. By purchasing through our store, you agree to their terms:
We do not store your payment information. All transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of these payment providers.
Shipping and Handling
We offer free shipping on artwork up to 36 x 48 inches in size within the United States. Processing times vary by product, and shipping estimates will be provided via email to any customers purchasing artwork over 36 x 48 in. or who reside outside the U.S.
Please allow 2-3 business days for processing. Most orders arrive within 3 - 7 business days, but may take longer during holidays. Shipping times depend on the carrier.
If your order hasn’t arrived within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation, please contact us at support@kristylausten.com with your name and order number.
International Shipping
We are happy to ship internationally with custom shipping quotes. If you are outside the U.S. please contact us with your location and the artwork you’re interested in. We will provide a shipping rate and reserve the piece for 48 hours. Please Note: the shipping applied at checkout is just a placeholder. Depending on location and size of the artwork, final costs will be invoiced separately.
Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. If these fees are not paid, the shipment will be returned, and a refund will be issued minus shipping costs.
Oil Paintings and Drying Time
Oil paintings require curing and varnishing before shipping. If your selected artwork was recently completed, please allow 2-4 weeks for processing and shipping. If this is required for your piece or if more time is needed that what is listed above, we will contact you with an updated timeline.
Packaging and Safe Delivery
We take great care to ensure your artwork arrives safely. Original paintings and stretched canvas prints up to 36 × 48” are wrapped with premium, acid-free materials and protective padding. Includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
Artworks larger than 36 × 48” will be shipped with a custom freight for added security. Please Note: the shipping applied at checkout is just a placeholder. Final costs depending on location and artwork size will be invoiced separately.
Unstretched Canvas and some larger paper Paintings will be shipped rolled and in a protective tube.
Returns and Exchanges
Original art carries a lot of meaning. If you’re not satisfied with your painting, you can return it. However, due to the nature of original artwork and limited edition items all return requests must be made within 3 days of delivery by contacting us at support@kristylausten.com. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover handling and transaction costs.
The artwork must be returned in its original condition and packaged securely to prevent damage.
If the painting is returned damaged, the refund will be forfeited.
The buyer is responsible for all shipping, packaging, and return costs.
Damages and Issues
If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us at support@kristylausten.com within 48 hours, including photos of the damage. I will do everything I can to resolve the issue.
Please notify us of any address changes within 24 hours of placing an order. Once the item is shipped, we cannot change the address. We are also not responsible for undelivered packages due to incorrect addresses. If returned, shipping costs and restocking fees will be deducted from any refund.
Intellectual Property
All content on this site—including images, text, artwork, designs, and logos—is the property of Kristy Centeno Lausten and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
We do our best to ensure the accuracy and availability of the Site, but we make no guarantees. Your use of the Site is at your own risk. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or any products purchased.
Third-Party Services
Our site may link to third-party services or platforms, including payment processors. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Site at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
