I don’t always choose my subjects with intention—sometimes they choose me. But when I step back, I start to see the thread: what I’m drawn to often reflects what I’m learning, healing from, or growing into. This painting is one of those moments.
Through my art journey, I’ve begun to see life differently. I’ve learned to stay present, to find joy not just in beauty and laughter—but even in the ache. Because sometimes broken pieces, the patched fabric, and the hidden stitches are what make the whole thing beautiful.
This piece is a reflection of that. Of being held in the midst of it all. May she remind you that your story, with all its twists, is not random. There is a golden thread being woven through it all. The Creator is with us in every fall leaf, every quiet breath, every uncertain step—ready to carry you when your strength runs out.
Isaiah 46:4 “I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”
